Sweepstakes casinos by state: where prize play is available

Last checked: August 16, 2026. We compared the current published rules for five major operators and checked state regulator notices.

Most US players have at least one sweepstakes casino available to them, but the operator lists do not match. Some sites also allow play-only coins in states where their prize currency is switched off. The table below separates those two experiences.

Start with your state, then choose an operator marked "Prize play available." That status means the operator's published rules currently allow its redeemable sweepstakes currency in that state. You will still need to meet its age, identity, location, playthrough, and minimum-redemption requirements.

What can you redeem?

Gold Coins and WOW Coins are play-only currencies. They have no cash value. The redeemable side uses a second currency: Stake Cash at Stake.us, Sweeps Coins at Chumba and WOW Vegas, and Sweepstakes Coins at McLuck and Pulsz. Eligible winnings from that mode may be redeemed for cash, gift cards, or cryptocurrency prizes depending on the operator.

A green cell means prize play is available under the operator's published state rules. It does not promise that every account or redemption will be approved. Operators verify identity and location, and each one sets its own playthrough and redemption rules.

Choose an operator available in your state

Find your state in the table first. If several operators have a green cell, read the reviews before choosing one. They explain what each site offers and how prize redemptions work. A yellow cell means prize play is limited, so confirm your eligibility with the operator before registering.

How we built the tracker

We read each operator's current terms, sweepstakes rules, or official help article and recorded three outcomes. "Available" means the published rules allow prize play. "Play-only or limited" means the operator permits only non-redeemable play or limits prize access or promotions. "Unavailable" means the operator excludes the state from registration, access, or its service.

Where two official pages disagree, we use the stricter status. We also downgrade prize play when a state regulator has directly told an operator to block residents or stop offering prizes. That is why Illinois is not shown as green even where an operator's terms have not caught up.
